Getting your family prepared to head back to
school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here
are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.

1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist – Backpack? Check.
Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time
you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already
purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you
have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to
the top.
 
2. Back-to-School Clothing – Lots of stores put their clothing on clearance at
certain points each year, but if you can’t catch a sale and you’re on a tight
budget, upscale resale shops can be just as good as the clearance racks!
 
3. Back-to-School Shoes – Right before school begins, there are lots of
great sales on shoes! You can also often find great coupons for shoes. Keep an
eye out for the buy one get one 50% off deals or buy one get one free!
 
4. Back-to-School Supplies – Stock up on supplies when the items are
super-cheap! It’s not hard to find amazing deals on school supplies as early as
July, so keep your eyes open and try to stock up whenever you find deals
and you’ll save more throughout the year or even next school year!
 
5. Back-to-School Sales – Watch the sales and strategize your shopping.
There’s always a sale somewhere. Check your circulars and look online to
find the best pricing on all of the items you need.
